An excellent book, one I had read about and finally found (thank you Paperback Book Swap!). Interesting story with well developed characters who grow and change over the course of the book. The story line is way more believable than a lot of romantic suspense books!

I have another copy of this book and love the range of type of sauces. Where else can you find pasta sauces made with everything from ham to artichokes to chickpeas. Not being a big fan of tomato sauces, this book has given me ideas and suggestions for lots of other meals.

Video Night in Kathmandu : And Other Reports from the Not-So-Far East (Vintage Departures)

One of my favorite travel books. Pico Iyer is a great writer and vividly captures the many oddities of the intersections of western technology and culture into the east. Funny and yet respectful of the many different cultures, Iyer captures the small bits and pieces of the ways these two cultures are intersecting and clashing.
