It is rare that I read, then re-read any book, especially in the HEA/Romance genre, but Sally Thorne's Hating Game was that rare exception. Sally's debut showcased her utterly unique voice, with scenes so endearing that they are truly the gold standard for me.

99 Percent Mine is not quite on that level, but it is darn close. Again, our quirky heroine manages to be odd, lovely, plucky, and Darcy's description of her feelings are singular in their poignancy and bite. Tom is the perfect man, whose ceaseless attempts at perfection undermine his peace of mind. These two together are dynamite. This story REALLY picked up for me at page 234, with a velocity that carried through the remaining 100 pages.

It took a couple of years for Ms. Thorne to publish her sophomore effort, but it was certainly worth the wait.

Kylie Scott sets the standard for this genre, and it's high. Like Empire State Building high! Chaser is no exception, with Eric's wry internal dialogue and his quirky, lovable epiphanies on life, family, and commitment. Kylie's writing clips along at a perfect pace, and the conversations between the characters made me laugh, cringe, and want to get in a car headed to Idaho so that I could hang out at Dive Bar. Eric's clumsy yet perfect journey from irresponsible, self-absorbed guy to mature, thoughtful, loving man was a pleasure, page after page.

I enjoyed Stella and Michael's story on so many levels! First, what a delightful, romantic, heartwarming tale. The depth of each character, main and supporting, was a breath of fresh air! Secondly, and most importantly, I learned about the challenges that a person living with Asperger's encounters. The strength of this book is that it has indelibly changed my understanding of autism and Asperger's, and that is a gift from Helen Hoang to all of us.

Queen Kylie, I bow down to thee.

Once again, Ms. Scott wrote a story that I couldn't put down, and when forced to put it down, (to my chagrin, life and adulting get in the way of my reading. It's bunk.) I couldn't stop thinking about it. The premise is dynamic, the intrigue taut, and the love so authentic, at times painful, and ultimately transcendent.

The hallmark of exceptional writing to me is that I want to go to Maine, and become friends with Clem, Ed, Leif, Tessa, Frances, and Nevin. These characters immediately become real, and the story compelling. Is Clem in danger? Was Ed unfaithful? Can they forgive, trust again, and resuscitate their love? These, and several other burning questions, kept me reading this book cover to cover, today. Clementine's internal dialogue vacillates between hilarious and heartbreaking. Ed's love for Clem, and his anguish over losing her are palpable.

Don't pass by the opportunity to read this one. It is superb.

There is so much to love about this story. Set in San Francisco (my favorite City!), Sweet Little Lies is rich with detail and quirky, hilarious characters. The hallmark of a great story for me is when I want to hang out with the characters, and these folks (Finn, Pru, Willa, Sean, Archer, Eddie, Spencer, and Elle) became so real to me.

Finn and Pru are admirable people, doing their very best each day, despite tragic losses. Loved them together, and couldn't wait for them to get their HEA. Great start to the series!

Every story in this series is better than the last!Ozzie and Samantha's tale is reminiscent of Shakespeare if the characters lived in 2017. Misunderstandings, good intentions, danger, comedy, and true love abound! Although my heart still belongs to Steady, I enjoyed every word of Ozzie and Samantha's HEA. The best part of this story? The witty, quick, sharp dialogue between the characters. You will laugh, re-read, then laugh again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this wild ride. Erika Kelly's writing is quality, through and through. Complex dialogue, well-developed characters, and a rich, engaging story. There were a couple of times when the scenes lost momentum for me, but two pages later, wham! The flow picked back up and I kept murmuring, "One more chapter. Then I'll go to sleep."

Slater is an amazing musician and person, who meets Emmie, and driven woman of substance. He recognizes his counterpoint in the universe, and a gorgeous love story ensues. I can't wait to read everything else that Erika Kelly has written!
