Set in an internationally famous European Clinic, The Antibodies centers on two doctors - American Dr. Philip Hollander, a doctor of great surgical talents who has given up a practice in New York for the post of head surgeon of the clinic. But if the financial rewards are less, the clinic offers Dr. Hollander the time to pursue research into the rejection mechanism in human organ transplant surgery.

The oterh is British Dr. Paul Gray, brillian, young, vivacious, dedicated to curing the world's ills and a practicing homosexual.
