not the best of the L. Ron Hubbard pulps on CD, but if you have heard any of the others in the series you will probably enjoy this one as well. I wouldn't suggest starting with this one however.

Great book on short hikes in the Beartooths. Well organized pocketbook size with both short walks and all day trips. I haven't taken all of the hikes but for those I have the descriptions were accurate.

Excellent book! I will admit I am a big fan of Cornell Woolrich, and this is one of his best. If you haven't read this (or any of his) give it a read.

As the title states, this is a collection of his early short works. A few are a bit predictable and the plots seem familiar. Possibly because others that followed him have taken liberty with his twists. But the majority of the stories here are exceptional and they seem to get better as you read the latter stories. Great read - well worth your time.

I am not a HUGE fan of Spillane, to start with. And while this is his last[completed after his death] I can't say it is his best or as good as others in the Hard Case series which I am a fan of. That said, it does share much of Spillane's classic style set a contemporay time. A good read, well worth the swap to get and trade.

Great, like everything by him that I have read. So take my opoinion with a grain of salt. Better than most of the other Hard Case series so if you liked any of that series you will enjoy.

Another good production of golden age pulp. L. Ron Hubbard wasn't the greatest pulp writer but very prolific. This is the third audio CD I have listened to and all are entertaining and very good production value.

Holy smokes, can Thompson write! This isn't his best by any means but even this is way better than most of the other stuff out there. If you have never read his work - do it now!

obviously the title gives some of the plot away but there are plenty of twists that keep you involved. side note: the many typos are a bit distracting.

If you know Detective Hoke Moseley, then you know what to expect here. Much the same as Sideswipe or Miami Blues. A bit dated [80's] but still a good read with some nice twists.

An early effort by Prather who I am not usually a fan of. Really enjoyed this one. Fast paced, slows a bit 2/3rd and picks up for the end nicely. Recommend

Pretty typical if you have read other his books. The audio version is produced well and an enjoyable listen. Top 10? No, but worth a couple credits.

I will admit I was reluctant since this only the unfinished beginning of a book Burroughs put up on the shelf. But having just read the Venus series as free ebooks I couldn't resist. It was very good and happy that even unfinished it was published. My biggest surprise was the add on Pirate Blood. Nothing to do with Carson of Venus and at first I wasn't even going to read it but it was suprisingly good. I would recomend to any Burroughs or pulp fan.
