I just finished Jude Deveraux's Remembrance and I read The Summerhouse books by her.  I read the Time Traveler's wife a while back.  Can anybody recommend any other good time travel type romance books?

ISBN-13: 9780671799380 - ISBN-10: 067179938X

http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780671799380-Son+of+the+Morning

Book Description:

A scholar specializing in ancient manuscripts, Grace St. John never imagined that a cache of fragile, old documents she discovered was the missing link to a lost Celtic treasure. But as soon as she deciphers the intriguing legend of the Knights of the Templar -- long fabled to hold the key to unlimited power -- Grace becomes the target of a ruthless killer bent on abusing the coveted force. Determined to stop him, Grace needs the help of a celebrated warrior bound by duty to uphold the Templar's secret for all eternity. But to find him -- and to save herself -- she must go back in time.

Summoning the magic of an arcane ritual, Grace steps back to the barren hills of 14th-century Scotland, enduring the perils of an untamed land to confront Black Niall, a fierce man of dark fury and raw, unbridled desire. Driven by a mix of fear and passion, Grace enlists this brazen knight to join her in a modern-day search for a killer. In their quest to protect a timeless secret, they uncover a love for all time -- and a deadly duel of honor that risks everything they have.

Book Description:

Would you like to travel back in time to a better, simpler world? TIME AND AGAIN will push back the sands of time and give you your heart's desire.

"Sleep. And when you awake, everything you know of the 20th century will be gone. Tonight is January 21, 1882. There are no such things as automobiles, planes, computers, television. I love TT romance!  Some of my favorites are: Beyond the Threshold, Pirates, and My Outlaw, all by Linda Lael Miller, any of the Highlander books by Karen Marie Moning, Time and Again by Nora Roberts, and of course the ultimate time travel book, Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon (followed by its sequels, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, Fiery Cross, and A Breath of Snow and Ashes).

Oh golly.  I can't believe I forgot Galbadon's Outlander.  That is probably the best one to start with.  Everyone I know who read it - LOVED it.

Sandra Hill's Viking series involves time travel and are also humorous as well as being quite hot.

Most definitely the Holy Grail of TT - Outlander.   Sandra Hill's Viking series. Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series.   Janet Chapman's highlander series is somewhat TT.    Jude Deveraux's A Knight in Shining Armor.  Lynn Kurland has several. Brenda Joyce has a series. Eugenia Riley's Wanted Across Time.  Veronica Wolff has a couple.    Do a search on Time travel and you come up with lots.

Son of the Morning was a real stinker.  Very little actual romance.

The best time travel romance of all time is without question Outlander!

Having never read Outlander (it's in my TBR mountain ladies put away your stones) I can't recommend it but for one that I did read I would have second A Knight in Shining Armor. I really don't care for TT but this one was excellent. Not just excellent for a TT but excellent period. I read a book by Sandra Hill  a while back called Frankly, My Dear. I think everyone who read this book with me (it was for a group read for a book group I belonged to) loved it but me. I couldn't stand it. But everyone but me liked it so I thought I would mention it.

I recently finished "If Only in My Dreams" by Wendy Markham and was so pleasantly surprised.  I'm not a fan of TT, but I couldn't put it down.  A very sweet book!

For something a little different in TT, you should try The Mirror   by Marlys Millhiser.

A pretty decent anthology was Veils of Time with stories by Lynn Kurland, Maggie Shayne and a couple of others.

I am so in love with the Outlander series.  A good friend of mine lent it to me saying I might like it as I am a huge amatuer Scottish historian- hailing from the Mackenzie and Mcleod of Lewis Clans- and I read it half heartedly at first thinking it would be 1000 pages of fakey scots history- but she was ON THE MARK.  These books are incredibly researched and actually historically accurate.  In fact- after reading through the battle of Culloden, I realized that info I had was wrong- she had it right.

Ditto, Claudia.  This is a tedious read, not just lacking in romance, but just boring over all.  But there are some who actually liked it.  *boggled*

I can't believe no one has mentioned Once In Every Life by Kristin Hannah.  This one is a keeper among keepers, a classic love story!  Highly recommended!

I have Son of the Morning.  I had no idea it was a time travel.  It's in a thick tradesize with Shadows of Twilight. Are they both time travel?  I don't really care for time travels.  I got it because it was only .50 at the recycling center but I didn't really look at it.

Don't know if it was mentioned but Lynn Kurland has a TT series.
