I know many of you have read and liked her Jaz Parks series. I was sad to hear that she passed away a few days ago.

All the family is saying is "Suddenly".  She was just 45.  There are two more finished Jaz Parks books coming out.  Number 8 is not yet listed on PBS.

I was traumatized by this. I was just heartbroken for her family and she is one of my favorite authors.  Orbit did say on their website that #7 Jaz Parks is still being released in November and that #8, the final book in the Jaz Parks series, was completed before she died and will be released in 2011.

Wow...that is so sad. :(

Anyone know what happened? 

I have not found ANYWHERE at all that has given any details.  Everything is just saying that it happened suddenly.

Everything that I've seen has said it happened suddenly, but I haven't seen any details. I'm also pretty sure she was in the process of planning a tour for her book coming out in November and she was blogging earlier this month, so it does sound very sudden. Quite a shock! Very sad.

OMG!  I didn't hear about this.  I loved her posts on FB.  She seemed like a wonderful person.  This is so sad.
