Okay, I'd like to compile a list of paranormal series.  Mostly just for my own personal use, to see what I've read and what's still out there, but I think it'd be helpful to others just starting reading paranormals as well.  So if you know of any paranormal series that aren't listed, go ahead and post here, please.  Thanks!

If people are interested in this, after I get a basic list I'll try to make it more detailed and comprehensive.  Such as number of books in the series, status (completed, in progress), etc.

Oooooh, I do love lists!  I hope this one takes off like the "New Paranormal Books" list you're keeping (which I love, MANY kudos for the format and all the hard work.)  I enjoy series and once I started thinking about it, they just kept coming and now they won't get out of my head.  Some of them I don't know the "official" name, just what I call them.  So anyone who wants to correct me, please feel free.  I just mainly wanted to throw the authors out there to get them off my brain.

Christine Feehan-Carpathian series, Drake Sisters series and GhostWalker series*

Angela Knight-Mageverse series*

Laura Gilman-Retrievers series*

Carrie Vaughn-Kitty series

Alexis Morgan-Paladin series

Michelle Bardsley-Vampire series?

Lora Leigh-Breed series

Karen Chance-Cassandra Palmer series

Keri Arthur-Riley Jenson Guardian series*

Susan Grant-Star series, extra-terrestial/futuristic series?

Julie Kenner-Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom series ?Ghoul? series

Jean Johnson-The Sons of Destiny series*

Sunny-Mona Lisa/Monere series

Barb and JC Hendee-The Noble Dead series*

Richelle Mead-Succubus series

Maureen Child-Fiend series

Allyson James-Dragon series

Victoria Laurie-Ghost Buster Mystery series*

Casey Daniels-Pepper Martin Mystery series*

Kat Richardson-Greywalker series

Vickie Taylor-Gargoyle series

Patricia Briggs-Mercy Thompson series

Shiloh Walker-Hunters series

Cheyenne McCray-Magic series

Robin Owens-Heart series

CE Murphy-The Walker Papers series*

Rachel Caine-The Weather Wardens series,  The Morganville Vampires series*

Jeri Smith-Ready-Crow series

Jackie Kressler-Hell series?

Rebecca York-Moon series

CT Adams and Cathy Clamp- Sazi series and Thrall series

Deidre Knight-Parallel series

Robin T. Popp-Night Slayer series*

Annette Blair-Witch series

Lucy Blue-Bound in Darkness series*

Yasmine Galenorn-Otherworld series

Eileen Wilks-Lily Yu series

Stephanie Rowe-Immortally Sexy series*

PC Cast-Partholon series

Jaci Burton-Demon series

Kresley Cole-Immortals After Dark series*

C.J. Barry- "Un" series?

Christine Warren-Others series*

Vicki Pettersson-Sign of the Zodiac series*

Shriley Damsgaard-Opehelia and Abby Mystery*

Colleen Gleason-The Gardella Vampire series*

JD Robb-Eve and Rourke series

Immortals*-series by various authors

Christina Dodd-Darkness Chosen*

Laurell Hamilton-Meredith Gentry series and Anita Blake series*

Shelly Laurenston-?Pack series?

Maggie Shayne-Twilight series, Eternity (?) series

Jennifer St. Giles-Shadowmen series*

Minda Webber-no idea what to call them

Sandra Hill-Viking/SEAL time travel series

Michelle Rowan-?Bitten? series

Shanna Swendson-? series

Stephanie Meyer-Vampire series

I think these authors have books out that are firsts in a series, but not positive: Talia Gryphon (Key to Conflict), Jeanie London (Retrieval), Gina Farago (Ivy Cole and the Moon), Jeanne Stein (The Becoming), Rachel Vincent (Stray) Jenna Black and maybe Cathy McDavid (Night Hunter), Emily Gee (Thief With No Shadow).

Whew!  Now I can think of something else.  If there is an asterisk I took the series name right off the book, so I'm pretty sure it is correct, others I just did my best.   Sorry not to add the links, I'm not sure how to do that.  Thanks again for making this list!

I love lists, too, Donna.  That's why I do these kinds of things, and I guess I like to share my oddness with you guys. :)

I'll get started on adding all those ones to the list.

Some of those I listed may be considered more straight romance (the Sandra Hill) or mystery (the Casey Daniels or JD Robb, for example) so please don't think you would hurt my feelings to edit/change/leave out anything on the list I sent.  Just glad to get them out there for consideration.  Thanks again Brenda

Donna, I'm still working on adding all your titles in my word document, and then I'll recopy the list and edit my list here.  Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring them. :)

Okay, the list is huge, and I think I've reached the limit for length (since it won't paste the very end of my list).  So I'm gonna have to figure out another format.  I think I have an idea, but I'll probably have to work on it later since my bum hurts from sitting here.

Brenda, are you kidding?!?  I can't believe how fast you work-I'd be working on that for a week at least!  I also remembered (I actually can't believe I forgot this one)

Kelley Armstrong-Women of the Otherworld series and the Elaina Michaels werewolf series

Also, tickling at the back of my brain, didn't Dara Joy have a paranormal series, and what about the Evil series of Kay Hooper, would that fit in?  Oh, and I think Kathryn Smith may have a new vampire series coming out, but haven't read it yet.

Okay, here are my options for making the list fit:  I've got the first three posts, so I could split up by author names.  Such as the first post having authors A-F, second post authors G-R, third post S-Z or something like that.  So it would look exactly the same, except split into three different posts.

Or I could just make the list with each authors name getting one line (with the name linked to their website), and then list their series next to their names.  It would look something like this:

Does anyone have a preference?  Which way do you think would be easier to see what's what?

Ok, I'm just going to add on since I already know and love a large number of the series already listed.

Karen Marie Moning- Highlander series

Nora Roberts- Circle Trilogy

                       -3 Sisters Trilogy

                     - Key Trilogy

Dara Joy- Matrix of Destiny series

I think those are only ones that weren't mentioned earlier, but I could be wrong. I can't see my shelf right now since I'm at work.  But wow, I'm going to have to add a bunch of the ones mentioned earlier to my own wishlist. I've been looking for new stuff to read myself.

lol we are repeating some of the series.  I vote for author with all the series beside them.  I know I would have to get up and walk across the room to my shelves to see all the series that I have.  If I get up the kids will think that this computer is free as well and then I'd have to beat them.  LOL

I vote the same, authors with names beside them if you think they would all fit that way.  But if the other is easier for you, then go that way, because either way will be great and it's your idea and work.  Just got back from the library where I heard about a new author (well, a new pen name, anyway) and possible series, maybe:

Elizabeth Guest, the series is about an Egyptian pharoah who is now a casino owner in Vegas and is a vampire.  Has romance as well, and the ending is left open for more possible books to follow.

Okay, I'll do it with authors and series next to their names.  But that'll have to be tomorrow.  We had a softball game tonight, and then I went out to dinner with some of the team, and just got back about 15 minutes ago, so I'm pooped.

Also several of those authors have shorts from these series in anthologies. Maybe there should be a spot for Anthologies. Or when I have time later I can start a thread for them if you'd like. I have to make dinner first Im starving.

If you'd like to start an anthology list, that'd be fine with me. :)  I think I'll keep myself pretty busy with the series list and the wishlist list.
