I once heard that if you can get ONE good idea out of a business book, it's worth the price. With that in mind, I'd say this book is worth its price. It's been revised over the years, but a visit to the website (radiant recovery) suggests not much has changed. I'd love to see a good scientific critique of the science presented here, because the carb impact charts are not carefully presented--not in serving equivalents. But the concepts of brain chemistry are intriguing, and I've been experimenting with the "potato at bedtime" concept and think it might be working. I was already doing everything up to that point. Another good idea is to be mindful of the sugar from fruit--I'd been too free with that. So for me the jury is out, but a couple of good ideas here seem to be making a difference for me.
