Elaine Beresford is catering the celebration of the 200th year of the House of Brody in Portugal for the Brody's, who are a wine making clan. It's important to Elaine that everything be just right as she wants to see her company grow. Elaine has suffered a bad marriage and isn't looking to start a relationship at this time in her life. However, perhaps Calum Brody has other plans.

Calum, raised in wealth, is taken with Elaine, but the road to her heart isn't going to be an easy one. She has a past, one that he's determined to make her forget. And that's almost what I wanted to do with this book, forget it. This is the third of a three part series and too much of the plot was borrowed from the second book, "Francesca". I found that instead of growing, the characters went a bit stale and I didn't care for them nearly as much as I did in the last book. Still, I suppose, had I not started this one immediately on the heels of the one that went before, maybe I would have had a little more of the thrill of discovery, so I'm giving "Calum" three stars.
