Book Review of Weight Watchers Magazine Annual Recipes for Success 2000 (Every Recipe...A year's worth of Weight Watchers Magazine)

I tend to be very visual when it comes to food. This recipe book gave you menu options for each day but the page was divided into 3 columns each, top to bottom, thus making it appear cramped and cluttered. They did include photos at the end of chapters, with inspiring stories but I would rather have the recipe photo be by the recipe, otherwise the font and graphics are very similar b/t title, ingredients and nutritional data. (The 2002 "Cook It Quick" recipe book is set up with a recipe per page, followed by it's photo BUT it doesn't have the comprehensive number of recipes that this book does.)

This book DOES have all sorts of yummy recipes for every meal course (and their point value), and being that it does cover an entire years worth of magazine recipes, I can imagine the wasted trees to design it in the other format. I just found I used the "Cook it Quick" more b/c it had 'everyday' kind of recipes with 'pretty pictures'. :)

The recipes in this book are also more gourmet than my 3 young boys taste buds are at this point. Great book for a young couple, older couple or kids who are adventurous! :) It just didn't suit my needs. I hope you enjoy it!
