I am glad I have read this book. It deals with a subject not really discussed much in many Black communities-mental illnesses. This was a breath of fresh air for me. The characters were believable. The drama was there but not over drawn and there were positives to the story so it was not just a depressing read. It had lots of insight and was uplifting at times. This was a realistic and different read.
