I found the book to be very inspirational and helpful. I will admit that I was a little skeptical about reading a book by the editor of Guideposts, thinking it would just be too much "too good to be true" stuff. But Edward Grinnan wrote a book that tells the difficult struggle he has gone through, while intertwining the stories of others, and it proved to be encouraging and inspirational. It did, as the title says, show "The Promise of Hope..."
