Victoria Beaumont was looking forward to relaxing on Mackinac Island at the family's summer home. But all thoughts of relaxing fled when she doscovered that her father, Charles, had invited Dirk Ramsey. His ruthless newspaper articles threatened to damage Charles' political career.
