What a fool she'd been Val was distressed and outraged when Michael Prescott blamed her for his brother's death. But she saw red when she uncovered Michael's deliberate plan of revenge. She should never have trusted a man-particularly one capable of taking that trust and trampling it without mercy. Well, she certainly wouldn't let it happen again.
