A hugely inflated---660 pages---semi-military sci-fi novel which could have been 200 pages shorter if all the sex had been left out. And, if the author had left out all the stuff only superheros can do, it would be another 100 pages shorter. Apparently the author also has a rape fixation.
There were some bright spots, such as when the fighting actually started, but in the end it didn't make up for all the other crap.
