I have to tell you, I was going to post this book... I actually DID post this book, but then when I flipped though it again to write this review, I decided I had to keep it. One of the first things that caught my eye from the introduction was, it's NEVER too late to start recording your memories...

This book a beautifully illustrated memory book for you to fill out with your memories and information about yourself, and about your child, children, you are writing this for. While I personally have STACKS of journals that I have written over the years, I don't know how long it would take for my kids to get important information from them, or if they will just toss them into the wood stove. I would like to hope not, since I wish my father would have written journals for me to remember him by. This book to me is like a smaller version of a history book, or that stack of journals. It is small enough to be actually "do-able" and big enough to be useful.

Start your family history today! When I think about the things I wish I knew about my mother, now that she is gone, it now inspires me to keep this book. If you are not one to "fill in the blanks" then this book would be worthwhile as a journaling "prompt" book, to get you started on creating that keepsake journal for your child or children!
