I found this book oddly disappointing. The storyline was original and showed great promise, but the characters were not fully "fleshed out". While I was reading this book, I felt strangely distanced from the characters; I didn't feel sympathetic towards them, and never felt the emotional attachment between the hero & heroine. I had no problem putting the book down and walking away for a couple of days (a rarity for me). The bad guys were soooo bad it was almost funny. The main antagonist was so obvious I guessed it right away - the hero wasn't so smart, though; he didn't guess till the end. And the sex scenes - eh, not so well written. I didn't find them so erotic, but I am jaded, so that's my probllem.
