Patterson and Ledwidge brings back a previous character, detective Mike Bennett. With his adopted 10 children, Nanny and priest father-in-law woven through the plot, one has to laugh at the trouble of a widowed father with that many kids all having the flu about the same time. Mike is chasing a killer who is out to teach the city some manners, killing people who have been rude to him and others. The characters in this fast paced book are very likeable and the bad guy, hard to figure out.
