Fans of Brad Thor will devour The Last Refuge! A political thriller that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat, Ben Coes leaves no stone unturned in this action-packed thriller!

Dewey Andreas goes to meet Israeli Special Forces commander Kohl Mier in New York, but the meeting never happens. Mier has been kidnapped by Iranians and the outlook isn't good. Mier had saved Andreas life so he won't rest until he has done everything he can to rescue Mier.

On top of that, there is political turmoil with Israel, Iran, China and a nuclear weapon. The first book I've read by this author, I now want to go back and read the first two books in the series, Power Down and Coup d'Etat, even though The Last Refuge can be read as a standalone. With several key players and non-stop nail-biting action, The Last Refuge is taut, shrewd and well-researched. Once the main stage is set, the plot twists and turns, pulling the reader along for the ride. If you enjoy this genre, you definitely won't want to miss this one.
