It took a while to set the plot, and it kinda dragged for a few chapters so I almost put it down, but it picked up in a very intriguing way. I foung Passing Shadow to be one of the most vile
shamans since Navahk(Corridor of Storms by William Sarabande). A very good read with a different feel than a lot of other pre-historic works. Just hang on througt the first 5 or 7 chapters, it does get better.
