After reading the first book, "The House of Scorpion", my children and I were excited to find out Nancy Farmer came up with this one. It was again I rate: "A MUST" Farmer's wide knowledge and sense of humor brought this book alive and tickled readers' deep emotion. We loved it! Both my children had read all of her books and we had read interview of Farmer. She is one of our favorite for sure. The story in this book is very easy to understand for children and it goes deep which allows them to think about making better choices in their lives.
