Book Review of The Farthest Away Mountain

This is, I guess, what you would call a pre-teen book. Cute. A girl, from a young age, told her family she is going to visit the farthest-away mountain (where no one in the village has ever gone), meet a gargoyle, and marry a prince. A voice awakens her one morning and she looks at the window and sees the farthest-away mountain nod to her. She decides it is time to go so heads off to the mountain, taking along some food, a book of poems, and a brass troll. She, of course, gets all of her wishes full-filled - or does she?
