I read all of Louis LaMour's books before I even picked up any by Luke Short. Their writing style is very comparable, and therefore very likeable for Louis Lamour fans. I'm sure that Lamour would admit to Short's influence. This was my fifth Luke Short book and I have yet to be disappointed. I'm glad there's many more by this author.
