Amelia Marshall and Frank Brody have one thing in common. They both need a piano. But when only one arrives instead of two, they have to make arrangements to determine who it belongs to. Frank wants the piano for the Moon Rock Saloon. Amelia needs the piano to make a living teaching children. Once it's put to a vote and Frank is given ownership of the piano, he offers to let Amelia teach her students at the saloon. She needs the money, though she won't admit it to him, so she is forced to accept his offer. The prim and proper Miss Marshall is the least likely woman Frank would be attracted to. He's convinced she's made of ice and she doesn't think too highly of him, either. Somehow, he changes his mind as he spends more time with her and discovers that underneath the cool exterior is a very passionate woman. He warns himself to keep away from her, but he can't seem to take his own advice. Teaching her students in a saloon isn't quite what Amelia expected. Frank is not as disreputable as she thought in fact, he's often kind to her. She begins to look forward to seeing Frank at the saloon. It isn't long before the two of them have the whole town talking and wondering what's going on between them. Frank says he's not the marrying kind, but Amelia has other thoughts on her mind. Now all she has to do is convince Frank!
