I really used to love Lucy Monroe and some of her older books I consider my favorite. But lately I have been disappointed in her writing and have determined not to purchase another book from her. Though I liked her heroine I did not appreciate how the hero lied to her. I did not appreciate how her mother and stepfather treated her. Her habit of allowing the heroine of the story to be mistreated formula is not working for me any more. Her mother was terrible, and yes we can forgive, but neither do I want to be around someone has treated me so shabbily. In other words I am tired of the same theme coming out of Lucy Monroe's book. She could have at least made the man suffer a little for the way he lied to me. Well Lucy Monroe you will not get any more money from me. I will not purchase another book from her.
