I love listening to books on CD driving back and forth to work, but I swear I could have fallen asleep with this book. It started off good, with the crime scene, etc., but the storyline drifts constantly away from the crime and I found myself asking, "WTF does this have to do with the story and why should I care?!" Definitely not my type of crime novel. No action, no police procedural work, and I actually figured out who the perp was before our hero, Roland March, did. If you like a crime novel that is more of a "novel" than mystery, then this is your type of book. If you favor hard-core action and police procedure, forget this author.
