Another great book by Chris Crutcher. Though I couldn't find it in my public library. I have recommended that they get it though. Crutcher moves from dealing with abused children in real life to children in the afterlife and their impact on the children left behind. Though his books deal with dark subjects he uses humor to lighten the intensity. With this book he inserted himself as a character and discussed his writer's block. Happy to report he's recovered from that as I am in the midst of another of his books.
