Set in the UK, the book is well written, the story about love and disappointment lingers. Lily rents a cottage in the seaside village of Steerborough to research the life of famous architect Klaus Lehmann -- but is distracted by the beauty of the location and wonders if hectic London and preoccupied lover Nick are really what she wants in life. The new life in the small town, and her neighbor, Grae, are equally mesmerizing. Book draws relationships well - love and all it's confusing ramifications, but also gives you the underlying story of the famous architect, and various town characters in this locale, as a mystery to solve.
