Mama MIA!
Just because I skipped the 1st book of this series...heck I didn't even know there was a 1st book....I just saw the cover and thought, Oh Yeah! The book more than lives up to the cover.
Hugh Franco, pararescue, yummy earthquake search and rescue team member finds Amelia and her newly adopted nephew in the rumble of a hotel. I fell in love with him from the moment he reaches them. He is the perfect blend of humor, confidence and compassion. All rolled up in to a hard body. Did I say yum already?
More than Hugh, I love the way Mann has 3 stories going on at once, a la Suzanne Brockmann, who is the freaking queen of special forces romance in my humble opinion. I am really looking forward to the next book.
This is the 2nd in the series, but is an awesome stand alone.
