I have always wanted to read Henry James, as he has been called one of the world's greatest writers. I did not enjoy this book, in fact did not finish it. It was a difficult read, full of a lot of description and not much action. I am a college gradutae and a writer, and this writing style is dead today. the topic was somewhat interesting, but not interesting enough for me to read it to completion.
