What I DIDN'T like about this book was the rush into an affair. At an English weekend house party, an unhappily married, German-by-marriage Princess, Christina, sees the hero, Max, making love to her good friend. Christina has an attraction to him, fantasizes a bit. The next day (or possibly two days, but I don't think it was any more than that) she's in bed with him herself. Although the author tries to cover her tracks by going on & on about the great "love" these two feel for each other -- IMO, it read like nothing more than lust.

And frankly I thought it was kind of skeevy for the heroine to see the man she's going to fall in love with in bed with her friend.

Aside from that, I guess it's a good story, (I liked seeing Christina's rotten husband get his), but I wish it had more heart to it. The romance seemed very rushed.
