This is the first Whittenburg I've ever read but it won't be the last - I loved her writing style, her lovely way with words and easy-flowing prose. First, you have to like holiday books; second, you have to like kids in romances. A lot of readers don't care for kids in books as they can be too bratty, too precocious, too precious for words but the 7-year old twins in this book were delightful. In a loose take on "Miracle On 34th Street", twins Abby and Andy hire our hero to find Santa Claus, to prove he exists, to show their mom, who doesn't believe, that there really is a Santa Claus. Their hiring interview with Gabe is funny and heart-warming, Gabe is sucked in from the get-go and so the story begins. I really loved this book, can't wait to read more of this author's books.
