There were parts of this book I really liked and parts of it that I thought were just okay. This is a book about Matt. Matt is an orphan and has been getting into trouble lately. When he and a friend break into a warehouse to steal some dvd's and is caught he is given an option. He can either go into the LEAF project or be locked up. The LEAF project is a foster program where you go and stay with someone out in the country. Matt chooses the project. On arriving to his new home, Matt thinks he might of made the wrong decision. There he lives with Mrs. Deverill and her farmhand Noah. They are both not very friendly. This is where I really enjoyed the book. The description of Noah & Mrs. Deverill and the people of the town gave me the willies. I was very entranced at this part. Matt finds out later that he is there for a reason and not a good reason either. The book is fast paced and an enjoyable read. There were parts that I didn't enjoy reading as much (the museum, most of the nuclear plant at the end). It just didn't grab me like the creepy town did. Still I would recommend it. Looking forward to reading the rest in the series.
