Was it an isolated event that took place in Bethlehem two thousand years ago, or did it begin long before? Ruth Bell Graham begins the story of Christmas in the Garden of Eden with the first sin that separated God's children from Him. Without an understanding of the story, the birth of the Savior has no significance.

As informally and warmly as though she were speaking to her own children, Mrs. Graham tells why the birthday of Jesus is only a part of the wonderful story. When we know all of it, Christmas becomes truly a day of rejoicing as we receive this greatest of gifts from God.
