I found this to be one of the most engrossing accounts of the story and players behind the abdication. It covers the relationship between Wallis Simpson and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and the animosity that raged between them throughout their lives. Both women were complex and determined to undermine the other. Royal watchers will really enjoy this one and even someone with a brief interest will find the characters interesting and the story more fascinating than fiction.
