I found this book to be valuable in getting to know - from the beginning - who St. Joseph is and it has helped me in developing my relationship with my Lord - to know how his earthly father lived and struggled, along with the Virgin Mary, has shown me just how humble the Lord is in choosing to be obedient to Joseph. Imagine, God made flesh loving one of his creatures so much that he chooses to be subject to him (Luke 2:51). This book has helped me in my personal devotion and I now think of St. Joseph as a model and companion to guide me as I follow Christ. Father knows best.
