The bird kids are back! I know none of this is high brow writing or reading, but I really enjoy this series. This book was not the best, but I like that we got to learn more about Max (and so did she). The flock splits up, which made it a bit awkward, but seeing as I read this at the beach, I must say it was perfect beach reading. Short chapters that I could read and gaze at the water and not lose any of the story. Worth a read for bird kids fans :) Plus he writes this one himself it seems, the writing is less... forced.
