Fourth Edition of College and University level fundamentals of Spanish. This book would be good for a self starter, one who can concentrate on the eighteen individual lessons at hand. Each section has a guide of questions and allows one to record their answers, then look in the back of the book for the correct answers. It covers many topics and subjects, and, as in all collegiatory classes, requires the reader to learn through repetition, and by breaking sentences down into verbs, adverbs, nouns, etc. Not only does it teach individual words, but complete conversations including subjects such as culture, communication, and reality based activities. I found the book to be very in depth and difficult for my level and ability of transcribing English to Spanish.
