Book Review of To Live Again

To Live Again

To Live Again by Catherine Marshall is an inspiring account of a widow's recovery after the death of her husband. Ms. Marshall was married to Peter Marshall, the Congressional chaplain who died suddenly of a heart attack. While interesting for anyone, it is a must read for those who have recently lost a loved one, feels as though absolutely nobody could understand their level of grief, feelings of loss and utter despair. This book helped me know that others truely did go through what I did when my fiance died. There was someone who, not only understood, but was able to articulate the innermost thoughts and feelings that seemed so unique. Since then, I've given copies of the book to other women who, I felt, might benefit from reading it. One lady kept it on her nightstand next to her Bible, picked it up whenever she needed, and turned to any page where she found a passage that helped her feel better. The book is definitely a 5-star!
