I liked this book about past second President. It was through but holds your interest. This my third book I have read so far about the man. This is the best so far. I still have a couple more to read. He was a moral man,opinionated,and a patriot. President Adams spent years away from his family as George Washington did. The Adams whole family suffered because of it. Many are critical of John Adams but I admire his patriotism,perseverance,workmanship. He along with the other founding fathers were all important in their contributions to the founding and assurance of this Country. You learn so much about the man,all he did and sacrificed so we may have freedom.You also learn about how the sixth President got his start in politics.
