Oh, yes. This book was definitely worth having to tolerate the first two in the series. By far the best addition yet.
Jimmy. What a terrific, multi-layered hero. This surprised me too, because I really hated his character in the first book. Just when I thought I had him figured out, Kylie Scott revealed yet another side of him and he became even more sigh-worthy than before. He was a real, gritty, not perfect person, but in a genuine way.

Lena was a great heroine too. I liked how she never backs down, even when Jimmy makes it very hard for her to do her job. She was a great, tough addition, and a good match for Jimmy. They had a terrific chemistry throughout the book.

The storyline also continues with the other characters in the series. It looks like Anne's sister will be pairing up with Ben in the next one. The series will make more sense if read in order, as I think the progression of the characters' stories enhances the additions to the series.

I just loved this story. Devoured it, actually. Finally- a book in this series that lives up to its promise.
