Book Review of Avoiding the Five Killer Whites

Avoiding the Five Killer Whites
reviewed on

We started this project in 1994 when my husband, Russ became very sick. In fact so sick three hospitals literally sent him home to die. He was a very pale shade of green. His hair was completely gray, he couldn't think straight and even though he was still working, he never worked a full shift and it took him from the time he got off work, torest enough to go back to work. Through trial and eroor, we learned what we could and could not eat. You will find not white flour, shortening, regular salt, sugar or milk in this book. We also avoid coffee, black tea, cocoa, and chocolate, or as we call them, the four killer browns. This book is what I'd call a transition book. You know, when your kids still want real food but you want them to eat healthily. These recipes have helped our daughters and many of our friends have change the way they eat. We. hope it helps you. We have been so blessed. We say "Thank You Father."
