A good story, overall. The later-in-life pregnancy is an interesting dilemma, but the book was also a lot about before the later-in-life pregnancy, so some attention was taken off that perspective. (Probably because it's an Everlasting Love tale.) I think I would have liked it more if it had been about the characters and family dealing with the pregnancy, instead of those being somewhat sideline concerns. A quiet read, really, with a lot of emotional and mental change.
