This was an...odd collection of....trivia? A friend's opinion was the author didn't like certain political opinions. I didn't get that out of the book, but I do think he includes an awful lot that isn't stupid--much is unlucky and others were not the fault of the person who gets blamed in the book.

His stupid inventions do tell me he has a narrow imagination--quite a few of them I could see being very useful, especially for my elderly grandmother.

The book had some interesting trivia, but I don't think it was a stupid history of the human race at all--it was not that well organized, it was more trivia of unlucky or unknowing than it was stupidity, and some items included did show the author's bias (in that I agree with my friend, if not as dramatically that it was political bias.

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know was a pretty lame chapter.

How to Destupify had some good ideas, however--read and turn off the TV being two of them!
