On page 1 of the Prologue she hints of a possible murder at the Savoy in London. Now come the police interviews with diplomats, thespians, aristocracy, and writers, all of whom may have whacked the victim. In addition to the interviews, the audience is informed of everyones background; points that are not revealed to the police inspector. She had me fooled, I thought it would be the ambassadors butler, I mean his chauffeur. This sort of reminded me also of Agatha Christies Murder On the Orient Express, in which everyone did it. Keyes, however, does bring the guilty party to task. Then her proverbial Epilogue, in which we are treated to a follow-on for all of the leading characters.
