She finds an antidote to a viral disease. Now she has to trudge her way in the jungle to help save lives including her father's. From the beginning the writer indicates clearly of the heroine's persistence in not trusting anybody. When she meets her guide, he doesn't trust her in return. It is a long road into wilderness and they have to overcome a lot of barriers; some with deadly weapons. It is good that the two main characters have a thing for each other and that they are both stubborn. Nice also that the girl knows how to fight to defend herself. But, the story telling is a bit bumpy here and there especially after each time the girl gets beat up- she is all good to go as if she heals miraculously fast. It is up to the reader's imagination to fill the gap.
