Melody Carlson is the queen of Christmas novellas - she releases a new one each year, and reading it is one of my favorite holiday traditions.

This sweet story drew me in from the first chapter. The creation of a Christmas quilt brings together women from a variety of backgrounds. I empathized with all of the characters, from 4-year-old Fiona to senior citizen Vera and all in between. And, of course, it has a satisfying happily-ever-after conclusion.
