Aww, so sweet! Touch of modernisms, especially in dialogue, throughout but i grew partial to Hazel and Blade (though i prefer his more familiar name Beckett), their backgrounds, and their families by design. Some things didn't really ring true like Hazel's eager sensuality especially for a headmistress, but that was easy to overlook because i liked the story so well. 3.5 stars
