This Christmas anthology has three stories of people who are caught in a winter storm and seek shelter at an Inn.

When We Finally Kiss Good Night - Sabrina Jeffries: Years ago, Flora Younger thought dashing Konrad Juncker was going to propose. Instead, he left town and never contacted her again. Now they meet again while taking shelter at an inn during a winter storm. The sparks are still flying between them. But the reason Konrad did not propose is still valid.

This was a good second chance at love story. My rating: 4 Stars.

The Unexpected Gift - Madeline Hunter: Innkeeper Jenna Waverly had been looking forward to a nice quiet Christmas when she closed the inn for the holidays. But an unexpected winter storm has her hosting travelers who were stranded along the road. When a stranger is found half frozen in the snow, he is taken to the inn where Jenna nurses him back to health. Lucas Avonwood has been searching for the man who took advantage of his cousin. He had been told that he is a regular customer at the inn, so he is waiting for him to appear.

This story was OK. The romance was nice, but I didn't like how Lucas resolves his business without ever letting Jenna know what had happened. My rating: 3 Stars.

When Strangers Meet - Mary Jo Putney: Kate MacLeod's coach has slid off the road during a winter storm when two men offer their help to her coachman. They get the coach out of the ditch and follow it to an inn where they all seek shelter. When Kate gets a good look at one of the men, Daniel Faringdon, she realizes that he is the man who rescued her several years ago when her uncle was selling her hand in marriage in a tavern in India. When she breaks the news to him that the marriage they thought was fake was actually legal, Daniel proposes that they explore the possibility of staying in the marriage.

I thought this story was very original. It was my favorite in this anthology, even though it felt like they fell in love too quickly. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
