Normally I really like Anne Mallory and I have read all her books, however this was not one of my favorites. There is a big mystery introduced between Roman and Andreas past with the "family". But it is almost not enough, I am sure more will come to light in this in the next book, however it really leaves you hanging in this book. I hope we see more from Charlotte's sister Emily down the road - she seemed like an interesting character.
I liked the characters, there were just too many things that just leave you hanging. You keep reading thinking you are going to get some answers or leads at least & you don't. Roman's character is constantly setting up "games" but they are still vague except for a very few at the end. I have very high expectations for the next book to really wrap up a lot of things.
